ARA Hardware is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing high volumes of monthly creditor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers. Your ability to work with efficiency and precision along with your commitment to exceptional customer service will be critical to your success.
About the role
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, handling high-volume ledgers
- Reconcile invoices against goods receipts, identifying and investigating discrepancies
- Generate account batches for payment processing to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of information into Navision
- Answer all phone and email creditor related queries.
Skills & experience
- Ability to effectively manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, handling high-volume ledgers
- Sound working knowledge of an ERP system to manage end-to-end accounts payable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen ability to analyse and resolve issues
- Capacity to work both autonomously and as a key member of the wider team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external parties.
