On the back of continual growth, LIVEFIRM is searching for a part-time Estimator to work collaboratively with its team to deliver the highest quality outcomes for its clients.

About the Role:

• Review drawings and specifications to prepare comprehensive project estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings, details, and plans
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to source pricing for materials and services required for the project
• Assess cost-effectiveness and identify potential financial risks
• Ensure excellent workflow through effective communication, drafting, scheduling, and interaction with the construction team and factory staff

Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial carpentry and/or concrete trades to help you hit the ground running
• Proficiency in construction drawings, plans, estimating software, COSTX, and project management tools
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
