David Han & Associates are seeking a highly ambitious, results-driven BAS Accountant to join their team in providing superior, pragmatic solutions to their clients. With strong relationship-building skills and a business mindset, you will play a key role in driving business growth for the firm.

About the Role:

• Manage workflow to ensure jobs are completed within budget and to deadlines
• Oversee the work of staff, ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients, as well as oversee compliance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and advisory services
• Support the director in the business's operational and strategic growth initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• CA qualified (or at least working towards this) with at least five years’ experience in public practice, working in a CA firm
• Expertise in NZ tax compliance and financial reporting, with strong knowledge of IRD requirements
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic advice, demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin (ideal)
• Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work autonomously while contributing to team and firm goals.
