Garador Auckland supplies, manufactures, repairs, and installs high-quality garage doors, gates, and automation solutions for residential and trade customers all over Auckland.

Our busy service division is looking for a Commercial Door Technician to join their team of experts in installing, repairing and servicing commercial and residential garage doors across the Auckland region.

About the Role

In this role, your day-to-day will involve:

• Installation of new doors or providing repair services to commercial garage doors and residential garage doors across Auckland
• Scheduling installations, service repair jobs and responding to after-hour repairs
• Ensuring sufficient supplies, materials, and parts are available in the vehicle
• Provide exceptional customer service by way of on-site communication with customers as well as communication with the branch
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, legislation, and procedures, including health and safety

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar position together with demonstrated skill in managing your workload to ensure timely and high-quality installations and repairs
• Proficiency in using hand tools with a solid mechanical aptitude for on-site fault finding and a ‘can do attitude’
• A good communicator who works effectively with the wider team, together with a keen eye for detail 
• A full New Zealand driver's license and good physical fitness to work with commercial doors are both essential for the role
• Like the Garador brand and product, we are seeking someone with excellent customer service experience who strives to deliver reliable, high-quality installation and repair services
