What are pre-employment checks?
We encourage employers to conduct at least two reference checks with the candidate's most recent Managers or Supervisors.
Depending on the position and the company, other pre-employment checks could involve medical and/or drug tests, a credit check, a MOJ (police) check, an ACC claims history check, and psychometric assessments (ability tests and personality questionnaires).
Talent Connection is SHL and Extended DISC certified. If you wish to incorporate a psychometric test into the recruitment process, let us know.

A CV is like your business card: it introduces you to a new audience. So, set your potential free with a polished, punchy CV. Every word matters, so think of your CV as you would real estate by following these:
🟢 Triple-check the grammar and spelling
🟩 Keep it brief - Aim for 2-3 pages maximum
❇️ Leave out private details - Date of birth, marital status, and religion are all personal information that could trigger unconscious biases
💚 Pictures out - Unless you are applying for a role in TV or media, leave your glamorous selfie out.
