MAXIMO is a premium manufacturer, supplier, and installer for commercial and residential balustrades and exterior products throughout Auckland.

We are seeking a Design Engineer specialising in Balustrades to be part of Maximo’s future success.

About the Role

Maximo’s team is focused on delivering the best service and precision workmanship. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in:

• Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

• Coordinate resources and procure and ensure timely delivery of materials for the project.
• Ensure adherence to building legislation and performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate site measurements are obtained for the job and prepare design in line with product and engineering specifications, client expectations, and Building Code regulations.
• Accurate and timely drawings are to be prepared for client sign-off, manufacturing and installation
• Work closely with the wider design team and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Skills and Experience

• An experienced Design Engineer ideally with previous experience in Balustrades.
• An Engineering degree or background in the industry with proficiency in AutoCad.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills to engage and understand the client’s requirements to achieve their goals.
• Strong ability to engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver on the projects on time and to deadlines.
• A process-driven individual with extraordinary attention to detail who will take pride in delivering highly accurate work consistently for clients.
