Milne Project Management is a proudly 100% Kiwi, family-owned and operated consultancy with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. Based in Takapuna, they have successfully delivered projects across the North Island, primarily within the commercial sector, with particular emphasis on education. Their reputation is built on quality, trust, and long-standing relationships with valued clients.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team, supporting the end-to-end delivery of construction projects - from planning through to completion - while working closely with clients and stakeholders. This role is well-suited to someone who is proactive, focused, and motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and a desire to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth and success.
About the Role
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and workflows across all teams and stakeholders
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project documentation, contract administration, and reporting requirements
- Support financial tracking, identify project risks, and contribute to mitigation planning
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ project management experience, preferably within a consultancy environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, design or engineering. Knowledge of Ministry of Education 5YA /10YPP projects and procedures is highly desirable
- Proficient in project management and reporting tools, with a solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Energetic, proactive, and solution-focused, with strong organisational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
