We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Coordinator for a part-time (0.5 FTE), hybrid role based in Mt Roskill, with the potential to increase to full-time in 2026. Reporting to the PTE Manager, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our educational programmes and accreditation standards. You will coordinate programme development, ensure compliance with NZQA requirements, and help us deliver training that meets the highest standards while reflecting current industry practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, trial, and review high-quality learning materials, including e-learning content
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to align resources with industry standards and best practices
• Manage quality assurance processes, internal moderation, and external moderation compliance
• Work closely with the PTE Manager and H&S and Wellbeing Consultant on the H&S Management Plan, preparing documentation, conducting risk assessments, and site plans at training locations to ensure compliance
• Coordinate internal and external hui, reports, and maintain accurate documentation and registers

Skills & Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in education, quality assurance, or a related field
• Proven experience in quality assurance or academic resource development within tertiary education
• Strong knowledge of NZQA standards, accreditation, and moderation processes. for example, US 11551 Moderation and US 11552 Design and Assess (essential); US 4098 Workplace Assessor (ideal) in your toolbox
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to cultural responsiveness and embedding te ao Māori
• Must have a full, clean driver’s licence
