Sales Lead

MAXIMO is a premium manufacturer, supplier, and installer of commercial and residential balustrades and exterior products throughout Auckland.
We are seeking a Sales Manager to be part of Maximo’s future success. In this multifaceted role, you will bring your natural ability for customer service and supportive leadership skills to manager a team of two estimators.
All while doing what you do best - building client relationships, closing sales leads, hunting, and creating strategies to secure new business.
About the role
- Manage Maximo sales and sales process, implementing new strategies and ideas to generate new sales across the Auckland region.
- Plan and coordinate client visits, selling products in line with client needs, with a service reflective of Maximo's brand promise and client expectations.
- Develop and manage new franchise builder and construction company relationships.
- Use company systems and processes to manage leads, measure jobs, and upload important client information.
- Manage the estimation team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of quotes, providing them and the wider team with clear communication to ensure that, as a team, we are delivering a product and service representative of Maximo.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in sales, ideally from within the balustrade or construction industry
- Proven ability to turn leads into sales, as well as lead and support the estimation team to ensure accurate quotes.
- A natural solutions-focused hunter ideally with an understanding of drawings that can adapt style to suit various client types.
- Exceptional communication skills on the phone and via email, with outstanding presentation skills and the ability to influence and drive future business.
- Ability to learn quickly in a supportive team - we will train you on our product and company - you bring the sales and relationship skills.
