We’re looking for a highly organised Accounts & HR Administrator to support our growing team, manage key people processes, and keep our operations running smoothly. Based in St Albans, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, service-based environment and enjoys variety in their day.
About the Role:
- Support accounts receivable - monitor aged debt, follow up overdue accounts, prepare AR reports, and assist with collections
- Manage the full employee lifecycle - recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and offboarding
- Assist with payroll, HR databases, compliance, and staff development
- Coordinate internal operations - meetings, manager scorecards, client enquiries, and record-keeping
- Oversee office admin - job scheduling, asset & vehicle registers, insurance tracking, and general support
Skills and Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in HR, office administration, or coordination (ideally in construction or a service-based environment)
- Experience in accounts receivable or debt collection, confident managing overdue accounts
- Solid understanding of HR processes and NZ employment legislation
- Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with ServiceM8, Xero, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
