SBA Flatbush is seeking a solutions-driven CA Qualified Accountant with proven experience in an NZ-based public practice firm. Based in East Tamaki, this sole charge role will report directly to the Managing Director, providing high-quality accounting services and offering financial advice tailored to the specific needs of SMEs.
About the Role:
- Responsible for client delivery, preparing financial statements, GST and tax returns, applying your understanding of NZ tax compliance and of all entity types and structures relating to SMEs
- Oversee and manage the workflow of the team based in the Pukekohe office – this will require occasional travel to Pukekohe i.e. weekly meetings
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and advisory services
- Support the Managing Director with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic growth initiatives
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant CA or CPA qualifications, with ability to sign off on work
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a CA NZ-based, public firm setting
- Strong customer-centric approach, with ability to build long-lasting relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment whilst contributing to team and firm goals.
