About the Role

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious senior lawyer to join as Partner and make a tangible impact on the direction and growth of a well-established general practice. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with commercial insight and the confidence to lead client relationships, while collaborating closely with the senior leadership team on complex matters and strategic initiatives. Skills and Experience

• A qualified lawyer with at least 7+ years’ relevant New Zealand experience within a general practice environment
• A proven record of managing and growing a varied caseload across conveyancing, property finance, wills, estates, trusts, and other private client and commercial matters
• A trusted advisor known for delivering practical, tailored legal solutions and building enduring client relationships
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability, with a genuine commitment to supporting junior colleagues and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
• Commercially minded with an established client base, strong business development skills, and a proactive approach to supporting the firm’s succession and growth plans
