The Opportunity
As Unicom New Zealand continues to grow, we are seeking two driven Business Development Managers to focus purely on new business acquisition across Auckland and beyond. This is a true hunter role suited to someone who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and winning new business opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Proactively identify and engage prospective business clients to grow UnicomNZ's customer base
Understand client needs and match them to the right telecommunications and ICT solutions
Manage the full sales cycle through to contract and sign-off, meeting set sales targets
Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to ensure client satisfaction
Gather and relay market intelligence and client feedback to the wider team
Build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise clients
What You’ll Bring
NZ citizen or permanent resident
3+ years of sales or business development experience in B2B or enterprise environments
Strong communicator who can quickly build rapport and trust with decision-makers
Highly motivated and target-driven with a genuine passion for closing deals
Telco or ICT industry experience is advantageous
Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own pipeline
