This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join Stratex on a fixed-term parental leave contract. Reporting to the New Zealand Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts, building strong relationships whilst providing outstanding service and identifying opportunities to support customers with the right packaging solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction

• Develop account plans that support customer objectives while identifying opportunities to expand existing business

• Partner with internal Technical, Operations, Quality and Sales teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions that meet customer needs

• Provide customers with commercial and technical guidance keeping them informed of industry trends, sustainability initiatives and new products

• Maintain accurate forecasts, customer information and market insights while developing a strong understanding of Stratex products, processes and capabilities

What You’ll Bring

• Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of building lasting customer relationships

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities and balance business priorities

• Experience within food packaging or related industries is preferred, with the ability and interest to develop technical product knowledge

• A proactive, enthusiastic approach with strong initiative, communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams

• Technical capability, IT confidence and a clean Class 1 full Driver Licence
