As the General Manager, you will provide the leadership, structure and commercial focus required to build on the strong foundations of the business and support its continued growth. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence across people, systems, processes and resources, ensuring the business continues to deliver safe, efficient and profitable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and strengthen business operations, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful performance

• Take ownership of financial performance through effective planning, reporting and commercially focused decision-making

• Develop, coach and empower a high-performing team built on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement

• Drive sustainable growth by identifying opportunities, improving systems and enhancing operational capability

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers and stakeholders while maintaining the reputation and values of the business

What You’ll Bring

• Proven SME experience in a senior leadership, operations or general management role, ideally within a trade, service or technical environment

• Strong commercial capability, with the ability to understand financial performance, drive growth and make sound business decisions

• A people-focused leadership style, with experience developing teams, building accountability and creating a positive workplace culture

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, suppliers and key stakeholders

• A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement, safety and delivering quality outcomes

• Proven success in driving sales growth and maximising returns on targeted marketing investment
