Established in 2011, Unicom New Zealand Limited (UnicomNZ) is a New Zealand-based Internet Service Provider and ICT company serving businesses nationwide. With over 15 years in the market, they support more than 3,000 business clients across broadband, voice, managed IT, security, and intelligent building solutions - trusted by organisations including Bank of China, China Southern Airlines, PB Tech, and KidsCan.
The Opportunity
As UnicomNZ continues to grow, they're looking for two driven Business Development Managers to lead new client acquisition and expand their customer base across Auckland and beyond.
What You’ll Do
Proactively identify and engage prospective business clients to grow UnicomNZ's customer base
Understand client needs and match them to the right telecommunications and ICT solutions
Manage the full sales cycle through to contract and sign-off, meeting set sales targets
Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to ensure client satisfaction
Gather and relay market intelligence and client feedback to the wider team
Build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise clients
What You’ll Bring
NZ citizen or permanent resident
3+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise environments
Strong communicator who can quickly build rapport and trust with decision-makers
Highly motivated and target-driven with a genuine passion for closing deals
Telco or ICT industry experience is advantageous
Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own pipeline
