Operations Co-Ordinator

We seek an Operations Co-Ordinator to support the day-to-day running of a small, yet dynamic team of technicians, as they install and deliver repair services across Canterbury.
About the role
- Provide counter sales and customer service support for walk-in clients at Kinetic Access and Canterbury Powdercoaters
- Liaise with Commercial and Gates sales representatives to prepare and maintain quotes, schedules, and customer communication
- Manage scheduling of Gates, Commercial, Powdercoat jobs, and urgent repairs through the job management system
- Support the Commercial and Technical Managers with training, H&S, and meeting preparation
- Prepare purchase orders, input jobs, assist with tender quotes, and ensure accurate invoicing
- Coordinate with Stores on receipting, weekly stock takes, and inventory accuracy
Skills and experience
- Previous customer service or counter sales experience, ideally in trade, construction, or manufacturing
- Strong administration and scheduling skills, with proven accuracy in invoicing, purchasing, and stock control
- Confident using job management systems, quoting/tender portals, and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
